SEVEN WITCHES Guitarist Calls DAN LORENZO A 'Douchebag'; LORENZO Responds

November 19, 2007

SEVEN WITCHES mainman Jack Frost has slammed THE CURSED/ex-HADES guitarist Dan Lorenzo for allegedly "talking a lot of shit" about him and "putting a lot of shit on the Internet" about him "for no reason whatsoever." Speaking to "The Classic Metal Show", Frost stated, "The guy [Dan Lorenzo] is a douchebag and a shitty guitar player, and I hope he hears this finally. He talks a lot of shit about me to people. So I just want to say this: Dan Lorenzo is a douchebag."

He continued, "Dan talks a lot of shit about me, and he puts a lot of shit on the Internet about me for no reason whatsoever. I've always been nice to this guy, dude, and he really ripped me apart to a lot of people for no reason. That's why I'm pretty disgusted with him. I just don't like the guy anymore. I wish he would say it to my face that he doesn't like me. I'd be cool with that. Alan [Tecchio, current SEVEN WITCHES vocalist who previously played with Lorenzo in both HADES and NON-FICTION] is an amazing singer, and I'm tired of people putting him down. That's kind of like...I'm pretty annoyed with what Dan's been saying about me, to be honest with you. I never talk shit about people, ever. But this is the first time that I've had enough of, you know...it got back to me pretty bad. . . He's saying that I'm a shitty guitar player. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm terrible. I'm a joke. I'm a joke in the industry."

Dan Lorenzo has released the following statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET in response to Jack Frost's comments:

"This morning, for the first time, I heard what Jack had said about me on 'The Classic Metal Show' this weekend. I was surprised and figured he must have me confused with somebody else. Jack said I 'put a lot of shit on the Internet' about him. Perhaps I don't know how to use Google properly...but I can't find ANYTHING I've said about him! Jack also said 'Dan is a shitty guitar player, and I hope he hears this FINALLY'... so I guess Jack has been saying that for awhile for me to hear! Who knew? The more I think about it... he's RIGHT! I am a shitty guitar player! I was NEVER into technical players. I consider myself a songwriter and a mediocre guitar play who has his own style.

"The ONLY thing I can ever remember saying about SEVEN WITCHES was that it's not my style of music and that I had heard a few songs off their last album and I thought Alan sang much better than the reviews would have had me believe.

"I know Jack was a big fan of NON-FICTION. Somebody told me that perhaps Jack is upset that Alan and I are on speaking terms again.

"I'd be MORE upset about Jack accusing me of things I've never said, but I'm just so happy to see my name in the news in ANY capacity! Jack, next time PLEASE mention www.DanLorenzo.net and/or www.the-cursed.net."
